It’s an exciting day at Postscript, as we’ve officially made the Forbes Next Billion Dollar Startup List! With only 25 companies recognized each year, this is something we’re incredibly proud to be a part of.

In figuring out who makes the cut, TrueBridge Capital Partners asked 300 venture capital firms to nominate those they thought were most likely to become unicorns, then reached out to an additional 80 startups on their own. Forbes analyzed finances and interviewed founders to narrow down the list and determine the most promising 25 startups that were most likely to reach a $1B valuation in the near future. We’re in great company alongside leaders shaking up industries, including Notarize, Productboard, and Vanta.

Why’d Postscript make the list?

We’re still in the early days of using text as a way for retailers to engage with customers. While it feels like such a natural medium given mobile shopping is skyrocketing and growing exponentially each year, most text marketing solutions are still pretty simplistic.

We built Postscript on the idea that SMS marketing must be highly targeted, capable of two-way conversations, and available for a diverse set of use cases. When prioritizing these attributes, text can be a game-changer for retailers and represents the future of how brands connect with customers.

This is only the beginning of our journey and there’s a lot of work to be done. We’re grateful to see that the industry recognizes the massive opportunities that lie ahead for our industry and Postscript. Most importantly, we want to thank our amazing customers, employees, and investors to help us get this far! We couldn’t do it without you.
